Wyatt Hayes Winslow

Wyatt Hayes Winslow, age 4, passed away on April 4, 2026, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Born on March 28, 2022, in Edenton, North Carolina, he was the beloved son of Wallace and Madeline “Maddy” Montgomery Winslow of Belvidere, and the cherished little brother of Thomas.

Wyatt attended Hertford Baptist Pre-School and brought joy to all who knew him. He loved being outdoors and had a special affection for animals, especially his dog, Penny. His greatest joy was spending time with his big brother, Thomas, who was his “favorite” person.

In addition to his parents and brother, Wyatt is survived by his grandparents, Joey and Florence Winslow of Belvidere, North Carolina, and Mark and Mary Montgomery of Edenton, North Carolina; along with special aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will dearly miss him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Hertford Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at their home each day from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16, and at all other times at the home of Wyatt’s grandparents, Joey and Florence Winslow, 143 Selwin Road, Belvidere, North Carolina.
