William Henry Harrison "Bill" Styers, III

William Henry Harrison “Bill” Styers, III, 53, of Gates, NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Bill was born in Pottstown, PA on May 5, 1972, and was the husband of Jessica Styers and the son of the late William Henry Harrison Styers, Jr. and Gloria Leister Styers, who survives. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy after 20 years of dedicated service.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica; daughter, Casey Styers; son, Wade Styers; mother, Gloria Styers; sister, Lisa Styers-Gilbert; adopted son, Joseph; and mother and father-in-law, Sherri and Michael Concannon.

A time of visitation and celebration of Bill’s life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home Chapel, Gatesville, NC. A brief U.S. Navy Funeral Honors will begin in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Gates Ruritan Club, 447 Gates School Road, Gates, NC 27937.
