Wanda May Spallinger

 Wanda May Spallinger, 88, of Eure, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.

 Ms. Spallinger was born in Putnam County, OH on May 15, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Hiram and Gladys Irene Doty Spallinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Norman Gray Etter and Irvin Pyles, a daughter, Vicki Etter, and by a son, Allan Pyles.

 Surviving are her five daughters, Judy Haynes and Trudy Disrud (Jimmy), both of Norfolk, VA, Irene Romans (Oscar) of Center, CO, Donna Niemyer (Ralph) of Charlotte, and Diana Elliott (John) of Eure; three sons, Michael Etter (Patricia) of Chesapeake, VA, Norman Gary Etter (Addie) of Montrose, CO, and Steven Etter (Angie) of Houston, TX; a brother, David Spallinger; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

 Private services will be held by the family.
