Thomas Wayne Aston, 70, of Suffolk, VA, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Thomas was born on March 8, 1956 and was the husband to the late Sharon Leigh Peele Aston and the son of Billy Bradshaw Aston and Mary O’Berry Aston, both deceased. Thomas was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Kaitlin Aston of Hobbsville, NC; son, Thomas W. Aston II of Suffolk, VA; three grandchildren, Natalie Aston, Adrian Bishop, and Ariana Bishop; and one brother, Raymond Aston.

A time of visitation and celebration of Thomas’ life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home in Gatesville, NC.
