Steven Foster Lyon

 Steven Foster Lyon, 69, of Gates, NC, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 in The Gates House, Gatesville.

 Mr. Lyon was born in San Antonio, TX on June 9, 1955 and was the son of Billy Emanuel Lyon and the late Rosemary Joyce Foster Lyon. A retired Senior Chief from the US Navy following 24 years of service, he was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed bear hunting.

 Surviving is his wife of nearly 51 years, DeeAnna Lyon; four children; a brother; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

 In accordance with his wishes, the family will hold a private service.
