Steven David Moore

Steven David Moore, 49, of Rocky Hock Road, Edenton, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in his residence.

Mr. Moore was born in Mecosta County, Michigan on August 6, 1976 to Rita Louise Erbes and the late Danny Lee Moore. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Steven Raymond Moore.

An electrician by trade, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving is his wife, Frankie Moore; a daughter, Emily Moore; two sisters Tina Vinton and Dayna Learman of Michigan; and two brothers Shane Moore of Oklahoma and Daniel Moore of Michigan; Philip Dail of Mississippi, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Miller and Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932, with Pastor A.J. Layton officiating.
