Silivia Covington Phelps

   Silvia Covington Phelps, 70, of Edenton, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in her home. 

   Ms. Phelps was born in Germany on May 3, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Jerry and Rita Covington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Richard Taylor, a sister, Diana Parker, and by a brother, Michael Covington. 

   A waitress, many remember her for her many years of dedicated service at the Heritage House in Windsor. 

   Surviving are her two sons, Christopher G. Webb (Lori) of Wake Forest and Nicholas W. Webb (Katrina) of Charleston, WV; a brother, Herbert Covington; and other extended family members and friends. 

   A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19, at 3:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
