Sandra Bunch Roberson, 75, of Edenton, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Born on August 12, 1950, Sandra was the wife of William O. “Billy” Roberson and the daughter of Elton Bunch and Maxine Bunch, both deceased. Sandra was a 1968 graduate of Chowan High School. She was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church. Sandra worked as an office clerical assistant at United Piece Dye Works in Rocky Hock. In her later years she was a homemaker and child caregiver in her home.

Survivors include her husband, Billy; daughters, Penny Roberson Tillett and husband, Harry Marshall Tillett of Elizabeth City, NC, and Ginger Kaye Roberson of Washington, NC; grandchildren, Casey Chappell and husband, Matthew, and Megan Bundy; and sister, Judy Bunch Wiggins.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, Edenton, NC

Funeral services celebrating Sandra’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home Chapel, Edenton, NC with Pastor Trey Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Beaver Hill Cemetery.
