Roy Junior Byrum

   Roy Junior Byrum, 79, of 3944 Virginia Road, Tyner, NC, died Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

   Mr. Byrum was born in Williamsburg, VA on August 28, 1942, and was the son of the late James Andrew and Lola Marie Ashley Byrum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Garland Anne Ambrose Byrum; and by a brother, James Edward Byrum.

   He was the owner and operator of Roy’s Electric Motor Repair.

   Surviving is his son, Mark Anthony Byrum (wife, Patty); his granddaughter, Layla Marie Evans (husband, Stephen, and their son, Leeland Roy Evans); and three brothers, Richard Andrew Byrum, Herbert Ray Byrum, and Bobby Gene Byrum, all of Tyner.

   In accordance with his wishes, no service is planned.

   Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, assisted the family with arrangements.
