Rose Swain Abdullah

 Rose Swain Abdullah, 64, of Hertford, NC, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 in her home.

 Ms. Abdullah was born in Tyrrell County on November 5, 1959, and was the daughter of the late Linton Temple Swain and Linda Nancy Bridgeman Swain. In addition to her parents, she was prededed in death by her brothers, Larry and Archie Swain. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years.

 Surviving is her brother, Tony Swain of Smithfield; and other extended family members.

 A gathering for family and friends will be held Sunday, July 14, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. A private burial will be held later on the family plot in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
