Roma O'Neal Hudson

   Roma Hilda O’Neal Hudson, 93, of 823 Macedonia Road, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

   Mrs. Hudson was born in Tarboro on May 1, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Randolph O’Neal and Hattie Louise Williamson Terry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Benny Terry.

   Retired from the housekeeping department at Chesapeake General Hospital, she had attended Macedonia Baptist Church.

   Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Bennington of Edenton and Phyllis Brooks Smith of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Betty Gay of Hertford; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

   Plans are for a small memorial service to be held at a later time.

   Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
