Robin Ange Swain Gieseke, 71 gained her wings on Monday, March 16, 2026 in Ahoskie, NC,

Born August 17, 1954 in Plymouth, NC and was the loving daughter of the late Robert Ward Swain and Irene Ange.

Robin spent 41 years with the Department of Social Services between Chowan and Perquimans County. Previously worked at First Baptist Church in Oklahoma and Chowan County Clerk of Court. After retirement she worked with Blounts Drug Store, which was one of her favorite positions. She was a faithful member of the Edenton Baptist Church where she served on several committees.

She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Gammy and Friend. She loved spending time with her family. She always had a way of making things special and people feel loved.

She is survived by her husband Lowell Gieseke of almost nineteen years. Children, Erica Gurganus (Brandon) and Thomas Hughes (Tiffany). Step children Connie Gieseke (Mike) and Tony Gieseke (Lynda). Grandchildren Keegan Gurganus, Piper Gurganus and Walker Stetson Hughes. Also, a sister Sharon Dawson and husband Bill of Conroe, Texas. Several nieces and nephews who were near to her heart.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Edenton Baptist Church. The family will greet friends in the Fellowship Hall after the service. Private Inurnment in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
