Robert Eugene Brown

   Robert Eugene Brown, 60, of Edenton, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

   Mr. Brown was born in South Carolina on September 20, 1962, and was the son of the late Rev. Eddie B. and Joann Tompkins Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Edward Brown.

  A jack of all trades, most recently he had been employed in the Deli Department with Duck Thru #41 in Hertford. A Baptist by faith, he enjoyed gardening, animals, and ham radio.

   Among his survivors are his cousins; and other extended family members and friends.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford. A private burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to SPCA of Northeastern NC, 102 Enterprise Drive, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
