Richard Wayne Barnett

Richard Wayne Barnett, 60, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Pasquotank County, NC. Richard was born in Charleston County, NC on September 24, 1965 and was the son of the late Thomas Bryan and Merle Dean Temple.

Richard enjoyed show cars, going to car shows, and anything cars; he was a handy man who could fix anything. He also enjoyed shooting guns, old school pin ball machines, and creepy clowns.

He is survived by his long term partner Amy Traut; Amy’s children, Samantha Stetkewicz, Douglas Stetkewicz; Amy’s granddaughter, Ella Stetkewicz; and his three best friends, Tommy Barnes, Johnny Dail, and Billy Russel.
