Patsy Barnett Terry

   Patsy Ann Barnett Terry, 73, of 352 Juniper Drive, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

   Mrs. Terry was born in Chowan County on December 26, 1948, and was the daughter of the late William Henry and Betty Elizabeth Bateman Barnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jasper Lee Barnett.

   Before retirement, she had worked with United Piece & Dye Works, and later was the produce manager with S & R Grocery.

   Surviving is her husband of 37 years, James Milton Terry; four daughters, Edna Fowler (Eddie) of Hertford, Dorothy Christine Best (James) and Dixie Lee Tunstall, both of Edenton, and Shawn Parker (Ronnie) of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Patricia Ann Moran (Randy) of Edenton; a brother, Louis Bateman of Edenton; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

   In accordance with her wishes, a private service for the family is planned.
