Nell Pierce Little

   Nell Pierce Little, 82, of 143 NC Highway 45 South, Merry Hill, NC, died Friday, September 22, 2023 in ECU Health Inpatient Hospice.

   Mrs. Little was born in Colerain on January 29, 1941 and was the daughter of the late DeFord and Nettie Ruth Harrell Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Pierce Williford.

   Retired from Dominion Power, when she started employment there many years ago it was known as VEPCO.

   Surviving is her husband of 61 years, 8 months, and 2 days, Ronald Norman Little; two sisters, Dianne Harrell Pierce of Greenville and Annette Pierce Swearingen of Roper; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   Graveside services will be held Monday, September 25th, at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain and will be conducted by her cousin, The Rev. Randy Pierce. Friends may visit with the family at the residence.
