Mike Hearn

   Stephen Michael “Mike” Hearn, 67, a longtime resident of Windsor, VA, died Saturday, February 25, 2023 at his daughter’s home in Eure, NC where he had been staying in his period of declining health.

   Mike was born in Franklin, Virginia on August 11, 1955, and was the son of the late Thomas Francis Hearn, Sr. and Hilda Pierce Hearn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Craig M. Hearn.

   Employed with Hearn Furniture Sales in Smithfield, VA he was a member of the Virginia Fox Hound Association and the Orbit Hunt Club.

   Surviving is his daughter, April Hearn McCully (David) of Eure; his son, Dustin Cole Hearn (Ashleigh) of Windsor; two brothers, Thomas F. Hearn, Jr. of Smithfield and Charles G. Hearn of Henderson, NC; and four grandchildren, Lane Hearn, J.D. McCully IV, Lacey Hearn, and Serena Hearn.

   In accordance with his wishes, a private celebration of life will be held by his family.
