Michael Anthony West

Michael Anthony West, 61, of Sunbury, passed away on Friday, March 6th at his home. Born December 14, 1964 in Hampton, VA, he was the son of the late Louis M. and Bonnie Wrenn West. He was a fabricator/engineer with Massimo-Zanetti Beverage and loved racing, camping, doing for others.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tammy Hemmis West; a son, Cory Anthony West of Sunbury; a sister, Melanie Stark of Corapeake; his step-father, Donnie Alford of Corapeake; his step-mother, Clara West; a half-brother, Kevin West; his father-in-law, Lyle Hemmis; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 2 pm in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, with Willie Downs officiating.
