Megan Lee Rementer

Megan Lee Rementer, aged 72, born on February 2, 1954, in Somers Point, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, in Hertford, NC, where she resided for 26 years.

Megan's life was marked by her profound love for animals. An avid animal lover, she devoted much of her time to rescuing animals, offering her home and heart to countless creatures in need.

Megan’s nurturing spirit and warm heart touched everyone she encountered. She was not only a devoted mother but also a beloved grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Arilyn Buchannon; her son, Anthony Sales, and his wife, Tanya; and her treasured grandchildren, Anthony Sales III, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Kathleen, and Ryan. Her siblings, Arthur and his wife, Shirl, as well as her niece, Amy Jo Dan, will forever remember her kindness and generosity.

Megan is preceded in death by her parents, William Michael Rementer and Mary Elizabeth Rementer, her daughter, Heather Wolfe, and her sister, Shelly Caputo. Their memories continue to hold a special place in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
