Mary Knott Greener

   Mary Honora Knott Greener, 92, of 126 Bayview Trail, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in Vidant Chowan Hospital.

   Mrs. Greener was born in Elizabeth, NJ, on December 7, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Rafferty Knott. A homemaker, she had through the years worked as a receptionist.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bertram Greener; and by her siblings, James, William, and Elizabeth.

   Surviving are her daughter, Bonnie G. Regulski and husband, Francis, of Edenton; her son, Kevin J. Greener and wife, Arlene, of Wilbraham, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jenny, Heather, Ryan, and Katie; and seven great-grandchildren, William, Andrew, Benjamin, Nicholas, Charlotte, Nathan, and Rhoan.

   In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held, and her remains will rest in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
