Mary Blair (Boo) Robinson Beasley, 89 of Edenton, NC died on April 27th peacefully at home.

Boo was born on April 22, 1937, in Littleton, NC to Horace and Lillan Robinson.

She moved to Colerain, NC after her marriage and became a homemaker and the mother of three boys. She spent most of her life living in Colerain.

Boo enjoyed her family, friends, painting and flower design. She spent many dedicated hours in service to her community. She attended St Thomas Episcopal Church in Windsor for most of her life and later attended St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edenton.

Boo is survived by her sons, Wood Beasley III and his wife, Laura, and Horace Beasley. Her grandchildren, Wood Beasley IV (Emily), Andrew Beasley (Sarah), Fletcher Beasley (Sydney), and Henderson Beasley. She had five grandchildren, Palmer, Blair, Wood V, Isabel, and Finn. She is also survived by her sister Dickie Tyler.

She was predeceased by her husband Wood Beasley, her son Jim Beasley, her sister Anne Hawfield, and her brother Horace Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm May 4th at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edenton, NC. Visitation will be at the home of Horace Beasley, 100 Corbin Court, Edenton, NC on Sunday May 3rd, 5-7 pm.
