Obituary

Marjorie Stallings Hofler, 94, 0f Hobbsville, NC passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Born on April 9, 1932, Marjorie was the wife of the late Bernard Sidney Hofler, Sr. and the daughter of Letcher Lee Stallings and Minnie Overman Stallings, both deceased. Marjorie was a devoted homemaker to her family and a long-time member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include her daughters, Jo Hofler of Hobbsville, NC and Jamie Hofler Robbins and husband, Mike of Warrensville, NC; son, Sidney Hofler, Jr. and wife, Debra of Hobbsville, NC; four grandchildren, B.J. Hofler, Joey Hofler, Bryn Robbins and Ryan Benson, and Dylan Robbins and wife, Kate; four great grandchildren, Payton, Brody and Stella Hofler, and Cole Robbins; and three sisters-in-law, Diane Stallings, Joy Hofler, and Ann Milam.

In addition to her husband and parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her three brothers, L. Ray Stallings, Curtis Stallings, and Bobby Stallings.

A private graveside service will be held at the Riddick Family Cemetery, Hobbsville, NC.
