Marilyn June Reynolds

Marilyn June Reynolds, 86, of Edenton, NC passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

A native of Chicago Heights, IL, Marilyn was the wife of 52 years to the late Frederick Bill Reynolds and the daughter of Robert Ewing Nantz and Lillian June Herring Phipps, both deceased. Marilyn enjoyed traveling with her husband, Bill, visiting friends and family both in the United States and Internationally.

Survivors include her five children, Richard Reynolds and wife, Sandra, Kathleen Ellison, Lori Reynolds, Frederick Bill Reynolds, Jr. and wife, Pamela, and Johnna Aust and husband, Mike; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Boudjalas Rice and Stella Brown; and brother, James Nantz.

In addition to her husband and parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary June Boudjalas and Janet Nantz; three brothers, Richard Nantz, Robert Nantz, and John Nantz; and step-mother, Roverta Nantz.

A memorial service celebrating Marilyn’s life will be held by the family at a later date.
