Mack Henry Copeland, Sr.

Mack Henry Copeland, Sr., 53, of Edenton passed away Monday, October 13, 2025. He was a son of the late Gene Wayne Copeland, Sr. and Verlo Joyce Cherry McNamara. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Josie Copeland and a sister, Mona Belcher.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Copeland and fiancé Gage Riddick; son, Mack Copeland, Jr.; brother and sisters, Gene Copeland, Jr. (Jenny), Tammy Rhea (Mike), Heather Steckel (Chris) and Kimberly Copeland; grandchildren, Kinlynn and Lawson Riddick; and nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 17, 2025 at Copeland Family Cemetery, 272 Hunters Fork Road, Tyner, NC 27980 with Pastor A.J. Layton officiating.
