Lucy White Lawendowski, 81, of Camden, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Born on March 12, 1945, Lucy was raised in Newland Township, NC, and was the daughter of Joseph Wilson White and Virgie Lee Bunch White, both deceased. She was the wife of the late Thomas Carl Lawendowski. In addition to her husband and parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Jezard; and brother, William Cecil “Billy” White.

Survivors include her two daughters, Laurie Ann Snow and husband, Bobby of Elizabeth City, NC, and Gina Mansfield and husband, Brett of Camden, NC; four grandchildren, Britton Mellott, Blake Mellott, Brittany Mansfield, and Brett T. Mansfield; four great grandchildren, Hallee Mellott, Chloe Mellott, Colton Mellott, and Jeremy Mellott; and one sister, Connie McDaniel of Sunbury, NC.

A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September, 27, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, Hertford, NC. Interment will be held privately by the family in the W.G. Bunch Family Cemetery, Hobbsville, NC.
