Lloyd "Bo" Patrick Hicks, 53, of Gatesville, NC passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Bo was a simple man with a big heart. He was gentle, kind, and caring. He loved chocolate, ice cream, working at home in his shop, spending time with family, and he had a special love for animals. He was always helping others and put everyone else before himself. He was taken from us way too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Patrick Hicks and sister, Angela Rae Haynes. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Shifflett Hicks; mother, Dorothy Louise Hicks; son, John Patrick Hicks; step-son, Ryan Daryl Crisp; step-daughter, Ashley Teresa Crisp; and sister, Jessica Lynn Eckley and her husband, David.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Greenbrier Country Club, 1301 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, VA.
