Kenneth Robert Cross

   Kenneth Robert Cross, 58, a longtime resident of Wilmington, NC, died Monday, June 13, 2022 in Gatesville, NC.

   Mr. Cross was born in on July 12, 1963 in Jefferson County, MO and was the son of Gillian Smook of Roanoke, Virginia and the late Ralph Edward Cross.

   In addition to his mother, surviving are his children, Sarah Elizabeth Holcombe (husband, Wayne) of Anderson, SC, Ashley Nicole Hobbs (husband, Al) of Wilmington and Jonathan Robert Cross of Georgia; his sister, Deborah Carroll of Boones Mill, VA; three grandchildren, Conner, Charlee and Dallas; and nephews, Patrick and Daniel.

   In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned. There will be a tree planted in Ogden Park this fall to honor his memory.
