Julia Ann Parks Chappell, 81, of Belvidere, NC passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
A native of Chowan County, NC, Julia Ann was the wife of Jimmy Clark Chappell and the daughter of William Preston Parks and Helen Bunch Parks, both deceased.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Chappell; sons, Tony Davidson and Jason Evans; grandchildren, Hallie Ann Davidson and Jordyn Davidson; great granddaughter, Mary Ann; sister, Shirley Parks Hollowell; and brothers, William Earl Parks and Woody Parks.
Funeral services celebrating Julia Ann’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. On Monday, January 19, 2026 at Ballard’s Bridge Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Engen and Ken Spivey officiating. The family will greet friends with a reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the funeral service. Interment will be in the Chappell Cemetery on Drinking Hole Road, Belvidere, NC following the reception.
