Judy Privott Renner

   Judy Privott Renner, 77, of Willow Drive, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, June 6, 2021 in Vidant Bertie Hospital, Windsor.

   Mrs. Renner was born in Chowan County on March 25, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Robert Carlton and Allene Blanchard Privott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gene Renner; her sister, Brenda Barclift; brothers, Ray, Fahey, Winborne, and Lynn Privott; and by a son-in-law, David Wesley Sampson.

   Retired from IXL in Elizabeth City, she later worked as a caregiver for the elderly and shut in. She was raised in the fellowship of Rocky Hock Baptist Church.

   Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Sampson of Hobbsville, and Sherlynne Baker (husband, Dennis) of Washington, NC; four grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Sampson, and Melissa and Jennifer Baker; a brother-in-law, Reid Barclift of Elizabeth City; and a special niece, Amy Barclift of Hertford.
