Juanita Hayman Cozzens Godwin

   Juanita Hayman Cozzens Godwin, 99, of Edenton, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

   Mrs. Godwin was born in Dare County on August 6, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Cage W. and Myra Davis Hayman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, James E. Cozzens and F. Marne Godwin; and by her daughter, Jimi Cozzens.

   Retired from the Edenton Visitors Center, she was a member of Bandon Chapel Church in the Arrowhead community.

   Surviving are her children, Gail Jenkins (husband, Edward) of Henderson and Marc Cozzens of Raleigh; and a grandson, Kyle Cozzens of Raleigh.

   In accordance with her wishes, no service is planned.
