Johnny Michael Thomas, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on December 19, 1972, in Bertie, NC, Johnny spent much of his life in the area he loved, surrounded by the natural beauty and close-knit community of Windsor, NC.

Johnny was a dedicated manager, known for his commitment and leadership. He possessed a work ethic admired by his colleagues and was passionate about his responsibilities. Beyond his professional life, Johnny cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in fishing, feeding squirrels, and hiking in the mountains. These activities reflected his deep appreciation for nature and his calm, patient demeanor.

Johnny is survived by his devoted wife, Jamie Thomas, of Windsor, NC, and his beloved daughter, Tiffany Diane Thomas. He is also survived by his caring mother-in-law, Nancy Dennis. Johnny's family was his pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and laughter that will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Joseph Thomas Jr. and Patricia Morris Thomas, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
