Jingjie Tang

   Jingjie Tang, 58, of Hertford, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in her home where she was being cared for by family.

   Born Nanning, China, on September 8, 1963, she was the daughter of Raofei Wei of Atlanta, GA and the late Xianshu Tang. Jingjie had a heart for serving others, and especially helping care for children. A Baptist by faith, other enjoyments included gardening, spending time outdoors in nature, and fishing.

   Surviving in addition to her mother is her life partner, Thomas Hampton of Hertford; her daughter, Lisa Xiaochun Mo (husband, Qi Rao) of Houston, TX; and her sister, Li Tang of Atlanta.

   A graveside service will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. in Cedarwood Cemetery, and will be conducted by Pastor Jay Rivenbark. Friends may visit with the family at the gravesite immediately following the service.
