Jacqueline (Jackie) Courtney Griffin

Jacqueline Courtney Griffin, 88, of 213 Hawthorne Road, died Saturday, March 28, 2026 in her home.

Mrs. Griffin was born in Suffolk, Virginia on November 14, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Albert T. and Ruby A. Courtney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Griffin Sr., daughter Debbie Perry, and sister, Jennette C. Griffin.

She was a homemaker that did furniture upholstery and had her own crafting business (Jackie's Creations).

Surviving is her son, Robert Ray Griffin, Jr. (wife, Doris Ann) of Edenton; a sister, Betty C. Luter of Ahoskie; eight grandchildren, Bryan, Nick, Ali (Ryan), Casey, Tracey, Ashley, Alyssa (JJ), Brianna; 12 great-grandchildren, Damien, Ethan, Rosa, Olivia, Aaliyah, Allison, Gianna, Jaden, Easton, Chance, Ashton, and Emersyn.

In accordance to her wishes, no services are being held.
