Irene Kinley DeGuzman

   Irene Lee Kinley DeGuzman, 80, of 316 Juniper Drive, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, November 7, 2021 in her home.

   Mrs. DeGuzman was born in Norfolk, VA on March 28, 1941, and was the last surviving of eight children born to the late Kenneth Kinley, Sr. and Sadie Rae Wicker Kinley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, infant Perry Lee Kinley and Helario Kinley DeGuzman (Cheryle, surviving); sisters, Marion, Lottie, Joan, and Sally; and by brothers, Sonny, Jimmy, and Billy.

   Surviving are four daughters, Anna Maria Stanley (Jack White) of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia Anne Underwood of Norfolk, Joanie Lorraine DeGuzman of Virginia Beach, VA, and Tammy DeGuzman Alexander (Billy) of Edenton; two sons, Gregory “yws” DeGuzman of Delaware and Amado “Eddie” DeGuzman (Yoshie) of Japan; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

   A family led graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 3000 Church Street, Norfolk, VA.
