Gerrydine Casey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerrydine Casey, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on Monday, October 19th, 2026, at the age of 75. Gerrydine was born in Norfolk, VA, on October 14, 1951.

A devoted mother, she is survived by her cherished daughter, Tricia Lane, and son, Jim Everett, who were the light of her life and her greatest pride.

A beloved sister, Gerrydine leaves behind her siblings Patty Lowe, Donna Lowe, Don Lowe, and Earl Lowe, who will forever miss their sister's gentle spirit and unyielding support, she is also survived by her previous husband, Buddy Casey. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, David and Edith Lowe, and her brother William Lowe, all of whom she kept in her heart throughout her life.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Homes & Crematory in Gatesville. In accordance with her wishes, services will be held to honor Gerrydine's remarkable life and legacy.

Gerrydine Casey will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, November 8, 2026 at Reynoldson Baptist Church, 73 Reynoldson Baptist Church, Gates NC, 27937 with Reverend Cody Brinkley officiating. A reception will be held after the service.
