Fred Keeter, Jr.

Fred Keeter, Jr. of Edenton, NC passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026 at his home.

Fred was born in Edenton, NC on February 13, 1952 and was the son of the late Fred Keeter, Sr. and Arlene Cayton. Along with his parents he is predeceased by his stepmother Evelyn Keeter.

Fred was the husband of Regina P. Keeter for thirty years. Fred is survived by his stepsons,

Chris Sawyer and wife Heather, Wayne Sawyer and wife Tina; daughter Christine Keeter; grandchildren, Emily Sawyer, Payton Sawyer, and CY Harrell of Edenton; brothers, Richard Keeter and wife Christine, Steve Keeter; and stepbrothers and sister.

Fred was employed at Jimbo Jumbo’s in human resources for 28 years, he loved the Green Bay Packers, fishing, and vacationing in the OBX with his family.

Fred requested for his ashes to be spread at him and his family’s vacation place at the OBX, Nags Head.
