Faye Allen Curlings, 83, of Elizabeth City, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the homegoing of a remarkable woman whose faith, strength, and love left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her.

She was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Lord with all her heart and carried her faith boldly through every season of life. Her prayers were powerful, her spirit unwavering, and her wisdom often arrived with honesty, humor, and a fiery attitude that made her impossible to forget. She never hesitated to speak her mind, stand up for what she believed in, or fiercely protect the people she loved.“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23She will forever be remembered for her strong spirit, faithful heart, and the fire that made her truly one of a kind.

Born on November 23, 1942, Faye was the wife of 46 years to the late Archie Ray Curlings, Sr. and the daughter of George Allen and Bessie Allen Godfrey, both deceased.In addition to her husband and parents, Faye was preceded in

death by her son, Archie Curlings, Jr.; brother, George Allen; and sister,

Eleanor.Survivors include her three daughters, Cindy Harris and husband, Dana, Robin Stork and husband Chuck, and Wendy Sullivan and husband, Jessie; eleven grandchildren, Edman Harris and wife, Stephanie, Robert Harris, Daniel Harris and wife, Steffani, Casey Stork and wife, Crystal, Zackery Stork and wife, Destiny, Brian Curlings and wife, Katie, Ashley Curlings, David

Sullivan and wife, Savannah, Hannah Sullivan, Nathaniel Sullivan and Mallory, and Kaydence Sullivan; thirteen great grandchildren, Skyler, Levi, Danielle, Elizabeth, Kyran, Emma, Gracie, Lincoln, Tatum, Georgia, Charleigh, Paxton, and Bently; and sister, Anne Nogle.

Services will be held privately by the family at a later date.
