Esther Joynes Kuhn

   Esther Joynes Kuhn, 97, of Hemlock Street, Woodland, NC, died Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Gates House Assisted Living, Gatesville.

   Mrs. Kuhn was born on April 3, 1925, and was one of seven children born to the late John N. and Jennie Taylor Joynes. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Kuhn.

   A former secretary and bookkeeper with the Employment Bureau of Virginia, she was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church.

   Surviving are nieces and nephews.

   A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Woodland Cemetery and will be conducted by the Rev. Douglas Spivey.

   Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
