Eric James Linhardt

Eric James Linhardt, 56, of Edenton, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

A native of Edenton, NC, Eric was the husband of 29 years to Judieth Evelyn “Judy” Linhardt and the son of the late Walter Robert Linhardt and Patricia Fitzgibbon Linhardt, who survives.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; mother, Pat of Edenton, NC; and brothers, Harold Michael Linhardt and wife, Debbie of Bradenton, FL, and David Wayne Linhardt and wife, Judy of Edenton, NC.

In addition to his father, Eric was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Walter Linhardt.

A memorial service celebrating Eric’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Chapel, Edenton, NC with pastor Worth Dale and Pastor William “Chicago” Eure, Jr. officiating.
