Doris Marie Robinson Cashin, 88, of Gates, NC passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Born on January 21, 1938, Doris was the daughter of William Robinson and Lilian Place Robinson, both deceased. She was married to the late John Cashin. In addition to her husband and parents, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Cashin; grandson, Bryan Perfetto; and sisters, Phyllis Mohrman, Sandy Martin, and Margaret Sleight.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Perfetto (Joseph); grandchildren, Heather Craft (Jeff), Kyle Perfetto (Kelli), and Katie Perfetto (David); great grandchildren, Wesley Bross, Nick Bross, Shelby Call (Nik), Alayna Gallegos, Alyza Gallegos, Noah Gallegos, Josh Gallegos, and Luke Gallegos; great-great grandson, Kevin Holbert; and sister, Florence Backman.

A memorial service celebrating Doris’ life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Kittrell’s United Methodist Church, 900 NC-37 North, Gates, NC with Rev. Johnnie Swann and Rev. Robert Jordan officiating.
