Doreen Ann Shaw

Doreen Ann Shaw, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her residence in Hertford, North Carolina, on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026. She was born on August 30th, 1936, in Unity, Maine, to the late Cecil and Helen Kershner.

Doreen lived a full and wonderful life, filled with love and devotion to her family. She leaves behind her loving husband, David Shaw, with whom she shared many cherished memories. Her legacy continues through her four children: Teri Locke and her husband Barry, Mary Robertson and husband Mike, Timothy Shaw and his wife Kim, and Lynwood Shaw and his wife Laurie. She was a cherished sister to Elizabeth Shaw, and a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who will all miss her greatly.
