David Paul Sorey, Sr.

   David Paul Sorey, Sr., 67, of Hertford, NC, died Friday, February 14, 2020, in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City.

   Mr. Sorey was born in Virginia Beach, VA on September 18, 1952, and was the son of Margaret Sykes Sorey and the late Irvin Wilson Sorey, Sr. A retired landscaper, he had been employed with Davis Brothers in Virginia Beach.

   Surviving in addition to his mother are his two sons, David P. Sorey, Jr. and Bobby G. Sorey; two sisters, Patty White and Gale Bernard; and a brother, Irvin Sorey, Jr.
