David Wade Lapham, II

   David Wade Lapham, II, 73, of 228 Shoshone Trail, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 in his home.

   Mr. Lapham was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on June 26, 1949, and was the son of the late David W. and Gertrude Bjornvold Lapham.

   A graduate of Craddock High School, he had served in the United States Air Force and later retired from the paint department of Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Bandon Chapel in the Arrowhead community of Chowan County.

   Surviving is a niece, Phyllis Baumwell Dendle of Hawaii; and two nephews, Eric Baumwell of Hawaii and Albert Leon Williams of Portsmouth.

   Arrangements are pending for a memorial service to be held in his church and when finalized will be updated to this obituary.
