David Michael Cox

   David Michael Cox, 55, of 1501 West Queen Street, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in his home.

   Born on August 20, 1967 in Portsmouth, VA he was the son of the late William Irvin and Agnes Ferebee Cox. A master craftsman, he was employed with Spencer Yachts in Wanchese where he specialized in the woodworking of building and refurbishing their line of boats. Hobbies included fishing, being on the beach, and collecting coins.

   Surviving is his wife, Brandy Michelle Sowers Cox; children, William Michael Cox of Elizabeth City, Alexandria Leigh Kiester of Norfolk, VA, Megan Roni Fox of Columbia, Wyatt James Fox of Oklahoma City, OK, Camelia Garrett of Elizabeth City and Audrey Garrett of Costa Rica; a sister, Joyce Cox; a brother, Gary Cox; and three grandchildren, Brooklyn Elizabeth Kiester, Kaylen Raquel Pledger and Chaska Acondo Kiester.

   In accordance with his wishes, no service is planned.
