Darlene Johnson McKnight

   Darlene Ann Johnson McKnight, 65, of 344 Center Hill Road, Tyner, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018, in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

Mrs. McKnight was born in Chicago, IL on November 4, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Clyde H. and Jolane M. Salas-Johnson. She was a homemaker, wife, and mother.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on June 27^th of this year by her husband, Michael Robert McKnight, Sr.

   Surviving are four sons, Michael R. McKnight, Jr. of Tyner, Weldon Dean McKnight of Gates, Adrian Patrick McKnight of Ovid, NY, and Andrew John McKnight of Yulee, FL; seven grandchildren, and another expected in March.

   In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.
