Daniel McLane Driver, Sr.

   Daniel McLane Driver, Sr., “Big Danny”, age 74, of Jasper, AL and formerly of Edenton, NC, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at his home with friends Nadine Millican and Reuben Lovett by his side.

   Born in Hertford, NC on July 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Arnold M. and Camilla Twiddy Driver, and was also preceded in death by his son, Daniel, Jr. “Little Danny”, and by his brother, Charles Allen Driver.

   Until retirement, he was longtime employee of NLI Sales, Inc., a truck and parts supplier in Jasper.

   Surviving is his daughter, Dawn Driver Kilgore of Jasper; four grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and his sister, Arnette Driver Forehand (husband, Carroll) of Hertford.

   Friends joined the family for a time of sharing memories on Friday, April 14^th, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Manchester Community Center in Jasper.
