Craig Bruce Heppard

   Craig Bruce Heppard, 66, of 1285 Snug Harbor Road, Hertford, NC, died Monday, January 17, 2022 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

   Mr. Heppard was born in Burlington County, NJ on September 19, 1955, and was the son of the late Bruce Murphy Heppard and Eleanor Marie Salmon Heppard. A retired master plumber having owned and operated his own business, Heppard Plumbing and Heating, in New Jersey for many years, he was a member of the New Jersey Plumbers Association.

   Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Debra Heppard; two daughters, Lisa Beyer (husband, Michael) of Hertford and Tonya Heppard of Cinnaminson, NJ; a sister, Christine Cahill of Palmyra, NJ; a brother, Glenn Heppard of Tabernacle, NJ; and six grandchildren, Cody Heppard, Dominick Ottobre, Ava Beyer, Michael Beyer, Grace Beyer, and Asan'te Bulluck.

   A gathering for family and friends to visit and share memories will be held Saturday, January 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. noon in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel.
