Corrinnia Fay Wright

Corrinnia Fay Wright, 88, of 1232 Kingsway Drive, died Friday, December 12, 2025, in her home where she was cared for by her family.

Fay was born in Chowan County on September 3, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth H. Wright and Annie Jay Wheeler Wright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janice Barber and Joyce Guynes; nephew, Lynn Barber; and niece, Paula Fay Crockett.

Retired as a bookkeeping supervisor in the banking industry, Fay was a member and choir pianist of the former Great Bridge Church of God, now Kingdom Life.

Survivors include her nieces, Donna Wester and Tina Cheatham; nephew, Kenny Barber; and great nieces and nephews, Kristen Guynes, Chase Cheatham, Chandler Cheatham, Chandlan Cheatham, Brian Crockett, Kevin Crockett, Lynn Barber, Jr., Haley Barber, and Kenny Barber, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. Friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home immediately following the service. A private burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
