Christopher Ravis Kolby

   Christopher Ravis Kolby, 49, of 41 Lees Mill Road, Gates, NC,  died Saturday, May 4, 2024, in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.

   Christopher was born in San Diego, CA on October 31, 1974, and was the son of the late James John and Rosemarie Ravis Kolby.

   Self employed in computer tech support, his favorite job was being a “stay at home” dad, raising the children and supporting them in their endeavors and life’s adventures.

   Surviving is his wife of 15 years, Lisa McKinney Kolby, and their children, Keira Alexis Kolby, Samantha Brooke Kolby, and Justin Danger Kolby; two sisters, Kimberly Kolby-Williams of Virginia Beach, VA and Deanna Kolby-Clarkson (husband, Harold) of Chesapeake, VA; a niece, Gidget Williams of Virginia Beach; and other extended family members and friends.

   Friends are invited to join the family for a gathering in celebration of his life on Saturday, May 11th, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the residence.
