It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christian Robert Evick, a beloved father, son, and friend, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in his hometown of Edenton, North Carolina. Born on Sunday, April 30, 1983, Christian spent his life surrounded by the love of family, friends, and the community he cherished.

Christian was a proud resident of Edenton, where he was born and raised. He spent his professional years working diligently in construction, where his skills and dedication left a lasting impact on countless projects throughout the region. Known for his work ethic and helpful spirit, he formed enduring relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

Christian's heart was fullest when he was on the water, indulging in his favorite pastime of fishing. He was an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles, often sharing the highs and lows of football seasons with friends and family. He also enjoyed the comforting escape of watching movies, which provided him cherished moments of laughter and relaxation.

Above all else, Christian valued the time spent with his loved ones. He was a devoted father to his three children: his sons, John and Anthony, and his daughter, Emily. His children were his pride and joy, and his love for them was limitless.

Christian was preceded in death by his mother, Mona Refa Christian and one son, Nathan Evick. He is survived by his loving father, George Robert Evick Jr.

He will be dearly missed but remembered with fondness by all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
